We love visiting Hotel Laguna, with spectacular views, and everyone is really nice. We recommend this hotel for events and they have a beautiful garden area to set up for any occasion.

Beautiful view, really nice staff. (I’ve only sat at the bar) Enjoyed twice baked potato, espresso martini, spicy Paloma? Cesar salad with steak At different times but every time I’ve been here I’ve had a nice chill time. You gotta try the twice baked potato, especially if you love mashed potatoes. Ooooo and they’ll give you a blanket if you’re too cold.

My wife and I spent the morning hosting an open house in Laguna Beach and decided to treat ourselves to a spontaneous date day afterward. We walked into Hotel Laguna with no reservation and were seated within five minutes right on the balcony overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect spot to soak in the view on a beautiful day. Our server, Kaytlyn, was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and professional without hovering. She checked in at just the right moments, gave us space to relax, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fantastic. We shared nachos, a Caesar salad, and oysters on the half shell, and every bite was delicious. Even the bread and butter stood out. They served two kinds of butter, both amazing, and we could not decide which one we liked more. The cocktails were equally great, and the overall vibe was laid back yet elevated. We never felt rushed, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was unbeatable. It was one of those rare, perfect afternoons filled with great food, great company, great service, and a view that reminds you why you love Southern California. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel, or the restaurant. The hotel hasn’t been able to be open. Views are amazing of the beach and great people working there. Only issue is that their grilled fish tacos are not grilled. They are pan fried. They were crispy on the sides which is not grilled. They were fried but they were pan fried which two of us went home to upset stomachs later due to the heavy oil used to cook the fish. We ordered grilled and it wasn’t and waiter explained they cook it in a pan. Everything was great. Great chips and salsa.

Spent the evening in Laguna Beach and wanted to go to a nice dinner with my friends. We decided to go to Hotel Laguna and it did not disappoint. Our server was very kind and attentive. She knew the menu well and informed us of the specials. For appetizers we ordered the bread and Ahi nachos. The nachos were amazing and had a great flavor combination. For my main course I ordered the Tomahawk steak, which was the special that night. It was served with Brussel Sprouts, carrots, and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. I finished the whole thing because I couldn’t stop eating. For dessert I ordered the 3 layer chocolate cake and it was phenomenal. Overall Hotel Laguna was amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful filled with amazing energy. Our view of the sunset over the ocean while we were dining is one I’ll never forget. I met the manager Ruth and she was awesome. She made our experience even better with her hospitality. I will definitely be visiting and dining her again!

We always hit this place up. This time we asked for the bartender to take care of us since it was a table outside his bar. The host was new I believe and there happened to be a line..

Great service! Delicious burger and fries and birthday dessert! Very open air with spectacular beach view. Bring a sweater if a chilly day/evening. Truly a beach experience. (They have fancier menu items - Sarah, salmon, etc prepared by a great chef - I was just in the mood for a juicy burger.) Dress and ambience here is casual.

This place is classy art deco Americana galore! Beautiful location, beautiful beach views even the drinks are beautiful. The bartender will whip up a mock tail for you on the fly as there are no mocktails on the menu. The hotel and restaurants staff are very attentive and friendly. I love the vibe here. We will definitely return. If you haven’t been definitely checking it out.
